Website News Here is a The latest news to happen to the website. Usually only brief updates, changes, additions...Etc.

12 May 2007:As you're all aware I've barely done any work to the website latelly due to the fact that I've been working to get this brand new layout made and online as fast as I could. Almost 2 months of long hard work has all come together now and FINALLY I have this new layout, colour scheme and brand new links and pages under way. Half of them are still unfinished and I am working on them. Please note that the newsletter, search bar and the contact me form are unavailable right now but that's due to the fact that I'm having to learn about CGI, PERL and/or PHP all of which I know nothing about so please bare with me whilst i spend countless hours attempting to know my way around them.

UPCOMING UPDATES: Here are a few updates that I'm currently working on and hopefully I shall have them working within the next month. Fully operational WBG Store, A brand new section of about Bonsai trees, their background and general information on how to upkeep your bonsai trees, A fully functional members section for those who register with me (for more information about the members area please click here) A fully functional search engine, newsletter group and contact forms and finally *IF* I get around to it I shall be taking new photos of my trees to give you all an update on how they're doing as well as the new additions of my Silk tree (given to me by my Grandparents) As well as 3 brand new Chinese Elms (one of which is spectacular)

04 Febuary 2007: I've made very few minor changes to the website itself this week. I am working on a new page or 2 for the "about Bonsai trees" section and i hope to have them uploaded for testing by tonight so they can go live tomorrow. I've made a few changes to the forums, added new sections and change the way it functions generally. I have a bit more work to do to the forums, but it's not a lot so shouldn't cause too much disruption. Images that i've been taking whilst re-potting my trees are being edited and put on a page in the members section sometime today. those of you who've asked to pick out the best i will be setting up testing accounts for you to log in when i upload the images and E-Mail you the required details.

Upcoming updates/additions:
Uploads i'm hoping to have up and running for next week are as follows, Atleast 3 more pages in "about Bonsai trees" section. Changes to the pages within this area will be changed to make it easier for you to navigate through the pages because at the moment they're all just like huge text documents and no page jumps to skip to certain areas.I will be gathering feedback off members of staff who are testing my new images so hopefully be adding another gallery viewer with all my new images ready for Sunday to upload. Modifications will take place on the viewers. I'm not totally happy with some of the over and onclick colours.

23 January 2007: 2 New pages are now on the about Bonsai tree section. The history and styles of Bonsai trees. More will be added after i finish typing them out. A few updates have been made to the forums, more will occure later on this week. A few more items have been added to the store and more will be added in a few days or next week.

21 January 2007: Brand new Gallery in place. It's very basic and only the 2 viewers online so far. I will be adding more images (and correcting images on the second viewer) within time. Also if you use the forums alot, Apologies now for it going into maintenance mode, Just doing a few upgrades

20 January 2007: I've finally finished the introduction to the about Bonsai trees page. I will be working on adding sections on the about Bonsai trees section in time. I'm curently making my next batch of lists to get on. Updates will take place all over the website. The forums will get a new batch of catagories and various posts, About Bonsai trees page will get a wide range of pages, offering help and advice within the next week. The online store will get more items added, The gallery will be totally revamped and much easier to navigate and more images online as well. If you would like any of your Bonsai trees placed in the gallery please E-Mail them to me at admin@welshbonsaigroup.com I will be putting a page in place, Where users will be able to upload their images.

18 January 2007: A brand new menu bar that i've been working on for the last few days is now finally finished and working as it should do. It's cleared up the menu frame a lot and looks a lot better than the buttons did. A new store is in place and online, ready for you to place orders. All items are sold by Amazon. If anyone new to Bonsai trees and requires help or advice in what items are needed or recommended as a starter pack then feel free to either post a message on the forums or send me an E-Mail admin@welshbonsaigroup.com Onto upcoming additions/updates, I am currently working on a page, full of information about Bonsai trees. You will notice more Ads popping up over the website. Better graphics and layouts will be improving all the time. On that note if anyone is good at graphics and is looking for a project, pop me an E-Mail on the address above.

16 January 2007:Members page in place. NOTE: People cannot access the members area yet unless invited. The left frame within members isn't fully operational but as there are no members as of yet fixing the dead links is bottom of my list. Shop in place and links all working fine. Only a handfull of items in the shop for now and none will be items i am personally selling untill i start getting starter plants in stock to sell.

UPDATE 15 January 2007:Contact & Credits page now in place and basic information online.

15 January 2007: The home page has replaced the news section into a scrolling box to save room to enable more content about Bonsai trees. A new news pages has now been created for a descriptive account of the news. E-mail addresses are now updated. The main E-Mail address used is, admin@welshbonsaigroup.com
Upcoming news/additions I will be getting around to a members area for people who've helped with the website on a whole so i can talk to them through the site and leave them mail, etc. Also there will be a contact page, Credits page, Information page on bonsai trees as well as my shop will be going live (but i very much doubt there will be any items on sale anytime soon. There will also be updates made to all title images and the menu bar.

UPDATE 12 January 2007: New website Domain. Forums now intergrated within website thanks to Ian Veitch. Gallery still being created but hope to have a basic layout online soon. About me page updated slightly updated, But expect changes to the page within the upcoming week.

11 January 2007: New forums online. Please could new users fill in the questionaire within the general thread please? Shall be uploading a gallery by tomorrow of my personal collection. Will add more pictures during re-potting so keep an eye out. I'm going to be buying a new domain and webspace tomorrow so forums shall be moved to new location within my site and not linked to another website

10 January 2007: Forums button and link fully operational

09 January 2007: Left frame in place and set within all pages. Home and About buttons and links in place and working. About page in place with brief outline set. Forum button in place but link dead. Got a forums page but link doesn't want to work for some reason.
